I have heard parents apologizing vehemently because they introduced their children to meat and drink. They feel they have brought their children down to despicable levels. Now that they are “enlightened” after attaining spiritual maturity, they think they have done a heinous crime. I was flabbergasted.

Is the moral fabric of life dependent on your eating and drinking habits? Is it not true that your children need to be good human beings? In my limited awareness, there is so much more to life.

Pseudo spiritual maturity sees the outer dimensions of life. The so-called moral brigade remains embroiled in the veneer, never venturing inside.

In my mind the questions asked of a child’s​ parenting methods should be more integral to the inner consciousness of the child and how much you have been able to awaken it.

Parents may take various routes to bring up their children, there are no rights and wrongs when it comes to parenting styles. Just ensure that they look within!
